Your gift will help save the elephant

Your donation will save lives

Nam Pouy National Protected Area is home to one of Laos's largest wild elephant populations. But these elephants are fighting the daily battle of habitat loss, poaching, and human-elephant conflict. Their population is declining. And little is being done to protect them.

Without law enforcement and monitoring, this nationally significant population will continue to decline. That’s why they need a constant presence of well-skilled, highly trained rangers to keep them safe.

Can you help provide the much needed security these elephants need? Your gift of protection will help restore a healthy, sustainable population once again.

Please donate by 30 June to help fund two essential ranger teams: a Wild Elephant Protection Unit and a Total Protection Zone Unit.

What’s more, Nam Pouy is a biodiversity hotspot. It contains important habitats that support a wide range of birds, mammals and reptiles, such as leopard cats, gaur, dholes and bears. That means your gift will help protect all the species that call Nam Pouy home.

Together, we will keep the wildlife of Nam Pouy safe from harm to ensure their future survival.
